TUC Concludes National Executive Council Meeting, Set to Discuss Civil Servants' New Wage Award with Government
In a recent development, the Trade Union Congress (TUC) has wrapped up its National Executive Council meeting, where it extensively discussed the new wage award proposed for civil servants by President Bola Tinubu. The labor center now prepares to engage with government representatives to determine whether the proposed offer has gained approval from its members.
Tommy Etim, the national deputy president of the TUC, disclosed this information during a press conference held in Abuja on Monday. He stated, "We just concluded our meeting a few hours ago and we received some recommendations from our members, which we will promptly convey to the government later today."
